Mish International Monetary Inc. v. Vega Capital London, Ltd. et al, 20-cv-4577 (N.D. Ill.)
On December 28, 2022, the Honorable Gary S. Feinerman issued a Memorandum Opinion and Order denying in large part the motions to dismiss filed by four of the six previously dismissed Defendants. The claims against Vega, its owner, and two other traders were sustained. The Court previously denied the motions to dismiss most of the claims against 8 other traders. The case will proceed against Traders 1-6, 8-9, and 11-12, Vega, and Individual A on the Sherman Act claim, the CEA Section 9(a)(2), Section 6(c)(1), and Section 13 claims, and the unjust enrichment claim.
Consistent with the Stipulated Protective Order, Plaintiff anticipates making a request to the Court to unseal the names of the Traders and other Defendants.
