On March 5, 2015, the Honorable John W. Darrah preliminarily approved the settlement of this action. The Settlement provides for a $625,000 all-cash payment from the defendants. Lovell Stewart is co-lead counsel for Plaintiffs in this action. The Court has scheduled a fairness hearing for August 25, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Persons who traded July and/or September 2008 CBOT rice futures contracts from July 9 through July 15, 2008 should save their relevant trading records because they may file claims to participate in this proposed settlement.
