Adam is a graduate of Yale University, cum laude, B.A. 1985, and of the University of California, Berkeley, M.A. (Asian Studies) and J.D. 1993;
Adam studied at Chiang Mai University, Thailand, and was Legislative Assistant to Members of the Hong Kong Legislative Council, 1993-1997; and
Adam is admitted to practice in California and New York.
