On December 28, 2015, the Honorable John G. Gleeson preliminarily approved the Plaintiffs settlement for $53,000,000 with Deutsche Post AG; Danzas Corporation (d/b/a DHL Global Forwarding); DHL Express (USA) Inc.; DHL Global Forwarding Japan K.K.; DHL Japan Inc.; Exel Global Logistics, Inc.; Air Express International USA, Inc. (“the DHL Defendants”). This brings the total amount of settlements to approximately $350 million. Lovell Stewart is co-lead counsel in this action alleging that the leading freight forwarders agreed to fix, inflate, and manipulate their surcharges.
